Turning writing into cash.

A lot of bloggers wonder about how to turn writing into cash. It seems to preoccupy them to the point of distraction, and yet the answer is so simple. So simple, it's almost a crime to reveal how easy it is, just in case bloggers go, 'Why didn't I think of that earlier?' But it is that simple.

To make money from writing (or blogging) you don't even need a bank account. You just go to the Post Office with cold hard cash and ask for a money order. When they ask you who to make it out to, just tell them your name. That's how easy it is. They'll make out a money order to you. And you'll get paid for writing (or blogging). That's how simple it is. You just pay yourself for writing (or blogging).

You can even get an envelope and stamp at the Post Office and send the money order to your home address to increase the thrill of being paid for writing for the very first time.

Is getting paid for not writing a better incentive?

I have looked this and I seem to think that is the better path and easier. There is a lot less competition in that market so it should green fields all the way.

Yes by not writing you have as good a chance if not better than writing to earn money from your writing.

Now where did I leave my reality medicine, I need a dose.

dollars earned by writing so far????????
dollars earned by not writing $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$.

Damo,

I'm sure getting paid for not writing is a better incentive (and a more sane approach) than getting paid for writing, but it doesn't cure the addiction to writing.

Na, I like it.

I always wondered why they didn't go with an ad campaign using 'ing'. I guess they had too much money.

David,

...still laughing* at Brenton's comment ....

...um...

I write lots - and don't make money.
I don't write - and don't make money.

[I]I like your suggestion, it may boost moral, at least, whilst one waits for the publisher to call with a real cheque...as for blogging for money...um... Me? I'm in it for the friendship.

I think you should get them to send two Money Orders to your house with a stamped self addressed envelope, you will then pay them for writing, that way it is legitimate....don't forget also to make sure you declare the income so that tax department can benefit from the endeavour.......absolute no brainer
