A week in a vice: SLOTH

Norm requested that I write this post for him and I couldn’t really say no because he wouldn’t hear it. He was already asleep before worded-breath had parted my lips. He wasn’t really asleep, he was merely faking it. Shit, he’s a lazy shit. He does fuck all, sweet. It’s why he’s so quiet; talking is too much exertion he tells me by holding up one of three signs. Piss off and shut up are the other two. He makes me type out all his shit and it is shit. He doesn’t give one though and all I get is the middle sign. Cunt that he is. Fuck, he is. A lazy sack of koala carcasses has more vim than that excuse for a person. Bed sores on his bottom have intertwined with his pyjama bottoms making him shit his pants and the bed. He does it with a zeal that he never exhibits for anything else. He leaves his writing on the curtains. He shits at the window and then with a stick scratches the words in, he leaves me to punctuate. Excuse any errors there. I’ve had to read all his shit and not many can say that. He never reads. His eyelids have grown into his face. To see where he’s shitting he has to look down his nose. He got me to write this one of my own accord and I don’t know why he bothers writing at all it’s just a waste. A waste, pure and simple. Shit, I’ve got heaps of shit to do and this is the normal length of one of these. The punctuation is in place. The numbers are too. And Norm has the shits up, again. Sloth and diligence: opposite

e-NORM-ous ...

Seriously, man ... your Posts like this one? ...

I can only get through about the first three sentences ... before I completely lose it and crack up big-time ...

And then, I just think, 'Fuck it, I'll just write to him, and tell him that ...

So, I have ... (Well, I have ... but will this message get through ... I mean ... IT? ... not very reliable ...

So, I suppose, I may as well leave now? ... Now that I've said written all I wanted to, and all I intend to ...

Because that was all I wanted to write to you ... and far be it from me to indulge in flowery verbiage or loquacious verbosity ... and just keep raving on ... It is just not my style ... Once I've said or written what I want to write to someone? That's it. I just stop. I never continue on. I tend to just say what is necessary, and then leave, and I sincerely hope that you, of all people, understand that. And I'm not going into a big university, thesis-style discourse on why I'm like I am, because so many people misinterpet not only my intentions but my pre-meditations ... and accuse me of blatant hypocrisy ... and I have to say (write) that I'm getting a bit sick of it ... I'm even thinking of going to TAFE or somewhere to do a course in wit (and Martial Arts) in order to (1) not only learn how to answer my detractors with witticisms, but to also verbally abuse them in an Eastern Martial Arts, Mastery of the Spirit way ... sort of like in that TV series Monkey ... 'AAAAAaaaaahhhh MooonnkkkeeeyyyY!',

And so, as much as I'd like to write more about this ... I thought I'd keep my comment brief tonight ... So, I apologise in advance for the economy and brevity ... and succinctness and preciseness of my comment (which lacked extraneous and superfluous detail or innuendo) ... but I just can't help it okay? ...

Next time I write a comment to you, I'll make a huge effort of the will to write a longer comment ... but it's just not in my nature to do so ... I'm sure if I'd been university-educated, I would be able to do that, but I wasn't so, I guess, in all my doltish simplicity ... I'll never be able to do it, until a University accepts me for admittance ... which, they're unlikely to do because they're anti-Truth? ...

Anyway ... I apologise again for the brevity of my comment ...

David ...

Oh, just one last thing ... Na forget it... If I start on that, this comment will blow out ... *

David,
I can wear your brevity, if you'll let me. Worn down, temporarily, by the world are mine. Sitting on my arse too much. Word-weary, Norm.....thanks for having a funny elbow.....and the pants to match and the pen of a writer and the pants to match....

Dusk,
I'm ecstatic about movements. I think that art has had many....and now academics are wondering what is next?....that is, what is art now?.....it's what it's always been ....a representation of visual experience.....off the track.... Norm......thanks, naturally phenomenal.....
