I lived in the States when I was a teenager, and I can honestly say that Americans are generally some of the nicest people you could meet (one on one).
But large groups of Americans.........oh lordy, does their collective IQ ever plummet.
Unfortunately the exact same thing goes for Australians!!!!!!!!!!

He was also funny like I couldn't believe.

What a pathetic world we live in when hatred gains more attention than kinship.I will say that here in Australia this sort of "scape-goat" mentality is common. When something wrong happens in Australia-why blame America?There are very few Americans who even live in Australia's migrant population (which wouldnt even make for a direct influence),yet you blame your own problems on a country that is on the opposite side of this planet?I will say that hatred against Americans arent the only problem,but hatred against all things foreign are. If Australia wants to do something productive,it really needs to quit relying on other cultures and start developing thier own (since the 50's they have relied on europeans and during the world war,they cried for America's help-then stabbed them in the back).Australia is really straying away from the "laid back" image they were once percieved as,and is starting to be known as a country of xenophobia and intolerance.This attitude will shoot itself in the foot when it comes to tourism.Nobody wants to visit a country that is as open with hostility as Australia is.
